Thumb Update

So we saw the hand specialist again today (well, technically we saw his PA).  His thumb is unchanged (as we already knew) and still stuck in that bent position.  So, a surgical fix it is.  They have to get authorization from insurance and look into the schedule and then get back with us on a date.  It'll be done at IU West.  My major concern is making sure there's a pediatric anesthesiologist (not just an adult one)...I put in my request, so I guess we'll see what happens.
